Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research is one of India’s premier nuclear research centres. It is the second largest establishment of the Department of Atomic Energy, next to Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, located at Kalpakkam, 80 km south of Chennai, India.

Position :- Trade Apprentice

Job Location :- Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu

Stipend :-

• Rs. 8050/- pm (For those who have qualification of ITI with two years duration).
• Rs. 7700/- pm (For those who have qualification of ITI with one year duration).

Age Limit (as on 31 October 2024) :- 18 to 24 Years

Selection Process :-

• The candidates will be shortlisted for training based on marks obtained in their ITI course.
• In case of a tie in the percentage of ITI marks, candidates with a higher percentage obtained in 10th/8th standard will be placed higher on the merit list (8th class only in case of Welder, Carpenter, Mason/Civil Mistry, Plumber).
• In case of tie in the marks obtained in 10th/8th, the candidate born earlier shall be considered.
• The selected list for each trade will be published on IGCAR website.
• All the candidates shortlisted are required to appear for Document Verification, failing which their candidature will be deemed cancelled.
