ITI CTS Leftover/Supplementary Examination 2025 ITI CBT Supplementary Exam 2025

ITI CTS Leftover/Supplementary Examination 2025: The supplementary examination for trainees under the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) is planned to be held in the month of December 2025.

  • Eligibility for Admission Year: Trainees from admission year 2021 (second year of two-year trades) and admission year 2022 and onwards are eligible to appear, based on the permissible number of supplementary attempts (three).

Criteria for ITI Exam For Trainee Eligibility

ITI CTS Leftover Supplementary Examination 2025: Trainees meeting any of the following criteria will be able to take the examination, subject to being declared eligible by the institute:

  • i. Failed/Debarred/Absent: Trainees who were eligible (based on attendance and Formative Assessment (FA) criteria) but were failed, debarred, or absent in the previous examination.
  • ii. Institute Declaration: Trainees whose attendance and/or FA entries had not been filled by the institute, but the institute declares them as eligible at the time of the supplementary examination.
  • iii. Attendance Makeup: Trainees whose attendance is less than the minimum requirement of 80% but is equal to or greater than 50%, provided they complete the trainee makeup for the shortage of attendance before the start of the examination and the institute declares them eligible.
  • iv. New PRN Holders: Trainees whose Permanent Registration Numbers (PRNs) were generated after the Mains Examination, provided they fulfill the minimum eligibility requirement before the start of the examination and the institute declares them as eligible.

  • Application & Fee Deadline: Both eligibility application/creation and exam fee payment must be completed by December 8, 2025.
  • Practical Exam Dates: The actual Practical Examination will be conducted from December 15 to December 19, 2025.
  • Hall Tickets: Trainees can generate and download their Practical Hall Tickets between December 12 and December 19, 2025.
  • CBT (Computer Based Test) Mapping: The mapping of CBT exam centers will occur from December 9 to December 18, 2025.

Examination Dates Summary:

  • Practical Exam: December 15 – December 19, 2025 (as per the previous schedule).
  • CBT Exam: December 24 – December 28, 2025.

ITI CTS Leftover/Supplementary Examination 2025 Grievance Process:

  • Grievances can be registered by trainees between January 10 and January 26, 2026.
  • Only examination grievances received through the online exam grievance module on SIDH will be considered. No grievances will be entertained after the closure of this period.

ITI CTS Leftover/Supplementary Examination 2025 Attendance Update:

  • For trainees who were short of attendance (by not more than 50%) during the mains examinations, ITIs will be able to update their attendance based on extra classes held. (This aligns with eligibility criteria item iii from the first document).
