• Regular A.P. State Government Employees: They can deduct their length of service up to a maximum of 5 years.
• Retrenched temporary employees in the State Census Department: 3 years.

APPSC Draughtsman Online Form 2025 Education Qualification

The educational qualifications for the APPSC Draughtsman Online Form 2025 are as follows:

• Candidates must possess a trade certificate in Draughtsman (Civil) from a State ITI or an equivalent examination.
• Candidates with higher qualifications are also eligible to apply for the post.
• Applicants with an equivalent qualification must provide a copy of the relevant Government Orders to the Commission within 10 days of the last date for submitting applications. Failure to do so will result in the rejection of their application.
• In addition to the educational qualification, candidates will be shortlisted for a Computer Proficiency Test based on their merit in the written examination. Qualifying this test is mandatory for appointment.

APPSC Draughtsman Online Form 2025 Selection Process

1. Written Examination: Candidates must appear for a written objective-type examination.

• The examination will be conducted offline, using OMR sheets.
• There is a penalty for wrong answers, with 1/3rd of the marks being deducted for each incorrect response.
• The date for the written examination has not yet been announced and will be published separately.
• Appearance in all papers of the written examination is mandatory. Absence from any paper will lead to disqualification.

2.Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): Candidates who perform well in the written examination will be shortlisted for a Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).

• Qualifying the CPT is a mandatory requirement for appointment.

3.Final Selection: The final selection is based on the merit achieved in the written examination and the qualification of the Computer Proficiency Test.

For Meritorious Sportspersons (MSP), the selection process is different. Their selection is made without a written examination, based on a final approved merit list provided by the State Level Committee (SLC) to the APPSC.
