लेकिन रेल मंत्रालय द्वारा रेलवे रिक्रूटमेंट बोर्ड 2 जनवरी 2025 को एक लेटर जारी करता है| : Minimum Educational Qualification for recruitment from open Market in Level-1 of the pay matrix of 7th CPC. जो कीआईटीआई एलिजिबिलिटी को हटाकर 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT’ छात्रों को एलिजिबल कर दिया है|

Railway Group D Modified Education Qualification

The Railway Board has changed the minimum education needed to get a Level-1 job.

• Previously, there were different rules about what education you needed.
• Now, the Board has decided that for all future Level-1 jobs, you only need to have:
  • Passed 10th standard (high school)
  • Completed an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) course or something similar
  • Or have a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) given by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)

This new rule will also apply to the upcoming Common Entrance Test (CEN) for Level-1 jobs.

Railway Group D Before Education Qualification

• Minimum Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 10th (High School) from any recognized Board/Institution.
• For Technical Posts: Candidates must have passed Class 10th and possess a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). Alternatively, they can have passed Class 10th and an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate from an institution recognized by NCVT/SCVT.

Mode of Examination: Computer-Based Test (CBT)

Examination Fee:

• UR/OBC: Rs. 500/- for most candidates,
• SC/ST/Ph: Rs. 250/- for certain categories (SC/ST/Minority Communities/Economically Backward Class (EBC), PwBD, Female, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen).

Other important information:

• The notification provides details on reservation for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, ExSM, CCAA, and PwBD.
• Candidates can apply to only one Railway.
• Candidates must keep their registered mobile number and email ID active for all communication.
